STADLER UK has announced that it has recently achieved ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems accreditation, following an audit undertaken on 1 December 2014.
The ISO 9001 standard is defined by ISO as “providing guidance and tools for companies and organisations to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.”
Rick Patten, Systems Manager with STADLER UK, commented: “Our aim is to ensure that all products and services provided by STADLER UK are delivered to the highest quality, whilst also ensuring that quality is maintained and, where possible, improved. This flows across all of our business, from large scale projects, the production of documentation and tender information through to the provision of parts and servicing for new and existing plants.”
Rick was responsible for managing the process, working closely with other members of the team which included internal audits, investigations and management reviews to guarantee the quality of work for customers.
Trevor Smart, Sales Manager with STADLER UK, said: “We are delighted that STADLER UK has achieved ISO accreditation and are only one of few companies to achieve this standard in our sector. It verifies our work and gives our clients peace of mind that we are working to the highest quality standards.”
