Storax Racking Systems, the South Midlands-based mobile racking specialist, recently exhibited at the annual British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) conference at the Chesford Grange Hotel near Kenilworth.
The BFFF is the leading association for the frozen food industry and its members are among the most important companies across the entire spectrum of the frozen food industry. These include the major supermarkets, food manufacturers and processors, logistics and distribution companies and cold storage specialists.
The BFFF Business Conference this year examined premiumisation of the retail sector, with a focus on foodservice along with an economic and frozen trends update. The day was rounded off with a session from Digby Lord Jones, one of the biggest advocates for British industry and trade both at home and abroad.
The conference was extremely well attended, due to the high quality of the speakers and the opportunities for networking with senior members of the frozen food industry. A select number of associated suppliers to the frozen food industry were offered the opportunity to set up stands outside the conference auditorium.
Storax Systems is a leading supplier of racking systems to cold storage facilities. Its innovative mobile racking system offers a high density storage solution. This is particularly important in cold storage facilities where the greater the area to be temperature controlled, the higher the cost. Mobile racking offers the cold storage industry considerable savings over conventional racking systems.
Commenting on the conference, Storax’s Sales and Marketing Director Gary Firth said: "The frozen food industry is a key sector for Storax. We have numerous installations in cold storage facilities both here in the UK and all over the world. Our attendance at the BFFF conference has helped to reinforce the message that Storax is an important partner to the frozen food industry."
