joined the company in early April 2008, and is responsible to the Directors for the efficient and profitable management of the company in line with a demanding three year business plan.
He brings with him a wealth of experience having led the management of manufacturing companies for many years. His previous posts have included working with family owned companies similar in size and structure to Structure-flex, although he also has experience of corporate business life as a result of time spent at multi-national companies such as ICL and The Ford Motor Company.
Richard, his wife and their seven-year-old daughter have lived in Rutland in recent years, but they will all be relocating to North Norfolk in the near future. In his leisure time Richard is a keen golfer, and an avid DIY man who owns his own cement mixer!
Structure-flex Managing Director Ian Doughty welcomed Richard to the organisation, saying:
“Richard is a manufacturing professional, and I believe he is well qualified and experienced to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a company which is continuing to develop as a result of growing world-wide sales. My fellow directors and I look forward to working with him.”
