Top Gear - a specialist in supply chain recruitment - has won a contract to become the sole supplier of labour to New Look's Central Distribution Centre (CDC) in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
Having supplied New Look with logistical staff for over five years, Top Gear has built a strong relationship with the CDC, which is regarded as the logistical hub of New Look's UK-wide retail distribution.
The 18-month deal, worth in excess of £3 million, will see Top Gear fulfil on average, 60 shifts per day, rising to over 200 in peak trading periods. Fulfilling various roles such as order picking, general warehousing, goods management and stock control, the sole supply solution was introduced to deliver consistency in quality, costs and service across the board.
