The latest results of the most state of the art in-cab technology will be unveiled by national supply chain specialist Nightfreight in partnership with MAN Truck and Bus UK Limited on their stand at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2011, NEC, Birmingham (12th - 14th April).
Since installing MAN EcoStyle, the web-based vehicle and driver performance reporting tool in over 500 of its vehicles, Nightfreight has reduced its fuel consumption by 3 per cent across the fleet and reduced vehicle repairs by 13 per cent.
The on-board telematics has enabled Nightfreight to monitor driver behaviour and vehicle usage, at the same time as providing real-time information to its fleet in a bid to improve fuel efficiency, productivity and individual performance.
Ian Smith, chief executive officer of Nightfreight, said: "We're delighted to be joining MAN Truck and Bus UK on its stand at the Commercial Vehicle Show this year.
"With one of our Nightfreight Deliver2Home vehicles on the stand, we will be demonstrating the first hand benefits of using MAN EcoStyle.
"By investing in the latest fleet management technology and managing our fleet even more effectively, we're able to pass on additional benefits to our UK wide customer base."
Des Evans, chief executive officer of MAN Truck and Bus UK Limited, said: "We are proud to have Nightfreight on our stand at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2011 as one of our live case studies.
