Terberg DTS announces major launch programme with SCHOPF

In conjunction with specialist manufacturer SCHOPF Maschinenbau GmbH, Halifax based Terberg DTS has recently accepted the first of the next generation of Schopf F369P four wheel drive airport tow tractors, on behalf of one of its blue chip customers.

Announcing details of the deal, Alisdair Couper, managing director at Terberg DTS said, "We are delighted to be the launch country for this new and exciting Schopf tractor, which will enter service in the coming weeks with one of our major global customers, operating at London’s Heathrow Airport. By design, the new F396P is particularly suited to high-speed towing and is ideal for the aircraft such as Airbus A380, bringing a number of new innovative solutions to the global tractor market."

Terberg and Schopf have also made a second announcement with the confirmation that Terberg DTS has also placed orders for the brand-new Schopf F70 aircraft tow tractor.

"The Schopf F70 tractor is yet another innovative solution from Schopf, who are the market leading provider of tractor solutions. We have identified that this particular specification has great market potential and Schopf has delivered a perfect solution for the 8-11 tonne tractor sector," commented Alisdair Couper.

This latest joint activity carries on the long term relationship between Schopf and Terberg DTS, which has seen a large quantity of aircraft towing tractors being delivered to, and operating in, the UK, both in the civilian and military market sectors.

Completing the trio of joint announcements, Terberg DTS UK has also revealed that it is now offering the market leading Schopf F110 and F59 tractors from stock, with immediate availability and delivery. As Alisdair Couper said, "This is a further innovative approach from Terberg to the market by offering the F110 and F59 from stock, as this will enable the market to have the facility to quickly source the market leading aircraft towing tractors with the lowest total cost of ownership, together with delivery available worldwide."

Terberg DTS is part of the Terberg Group of Companies that are based in Holland and has a history reaching back over 150 years, with operations in more than 80 locations around the world.
