Wigan-based Norwest Plant, a leading plant hire equipment provider for North Wales and the North West of England, has announced a major site dumper supply agreement.
The 60-unit contract, coming from B&W Plant Hire and Sales Ltd, will see 40 six-tonne TA6 forward-tip site dumpers and 20 nine-tonne TA9 forward-tip site dumpers delivered over the coming weeks. Fully liveried with B&W branding, the units will come with a servicing, parts and back-up package included.
With a head office in Blackburn and additional branches in Keighley, Northwich and Southampton, B&W has added the machines to its hire fleet as part of an equipment expansion drive. The models, which will be manufactured at Terex Construction’s manufacturing facility in Coventry, will be used in a variety of construction and groundwork projects.
Jonathan Campbell, Managing Director at Norwest Plant, commented: “Although the contract was hotly contested, our well-earned reputation for quality service and a close working relationship with B&W helped to secure the agreement. We are well known in the compact marketplace for supplying excellent products, providing expert equipment servicing solutions and offering a comprehensive product parts and back-up support service. This is another key reason behind our ongoing success and played a key part in the contract with B&W.
“Since joining the Terex global distributor network, we have worked in close partnership with the manufacturer’s Coventry team to provide our loyal customer base with the latest compact plant equipment and state-of-the-art on-site technology. This is just one of the resulting supply contracts.”
Paul Macpherson, Sales and Marketing Director of Terex Construction’s Coventry facility, commented: “Norwest is well renowned for delivering exceptional service – one of the key characteristics that we look for in distributors of the Terex brand. We’re delighted to see this pay off with such a significant order.”
