The Lighthouse Club Charity shines

AT THE NEW CHARLES WILSON PLANT HIRE DEPOT IN BRISTOL. Charles Wilson Engineers Ltd officially opened their new depot in Bristol on Thursday 6th September 2007, where a charity raffle was held for the Lighthouse Club, the construction industry charity. Displays and demonstrations of plant and small tools were in action by renowned suppliers around the depot all day.
Established in 1979, Charles Wilson first began trading from a single location based in the Hertfordshire town of Harpenden. Since then the company has grown into one of the countries leading plant and tool hire operations with an extensive network of depot locations, including the recently opened Bristol depot.
A speech was made by Mr David Gallagher, MD Charles Wilson Engineers, Ltd where he thanked one of the founders of the company, David Wilson, Director, who officially unveiled the opening plaque with Tony Green, Lighthouse Club's Western Branch Treasurer and member of the Clubs National Council.
A raffle was held throughout the day to raise funds for the Lighthouse Club charity. Prizes included a set of golf clubs, a digital radio and TV/DVD player amongst numerous gifts donated by Charles Wilson suppliers including Saber Impact, JCB, Neusons, Conquip, Genset, Hos plant, Ingersol Rand and the National Plant Hire Guide plus many more.
Charles Wilson prides itself with being able to
supply “Everything from a 21m telehandler to a ½” drill”.
