Howard Tenens is pleased to announce that the Company has installed its first natural gas refuelling station. This initiative underpins the Group's commitment to reduce our carbon footprint and that of our customers. The gas refuelling station provides the infrastructure for our low carbon transport strategy with the roll-out of dual fuel (diesel and gas) vehicles across our HGV fleet.
This first natural gas refuelling station has been installed at our Andover depot which services many of our food and drink customers; they are delighted with this initiative as it reinforces our commitment to working in partnership to achieve a more sustainable logistics operation.
Howard Tenens is providing access to the refuelling station by arrangement so that others can benefit from this innovation. Interested parties should contact Matt Whitwell, Divisional Operations Manager in the first instance. The UK is currently developing refuelling infrastructure to support low carbon transport.
