Leading environmental journalist and columnist Lucy Siegle will be at the event on Tuesday 13 September followed by former Confederation of British Industry (CBI) director general and Minister of State for Trade and Investment Lord Digby Jones on Wednesday 14 September. Environmental advisor Jonathon Porritt CBE will speak at the event on Thursday 15 September.
RWM in partnership with CIWM event director Gerry Sherwood said: "The support of Lord Digby Jones, Jonathon Porritt and Lucy Siegle shows how waste, recycling and sustainability have mainstream support and will help us to inform and inspire everyone visiting RWM in partnership with CIWM."
RWM in partnership with CIWM is the UK's biggest event for organisations with an interest in waste and recycling. Formed late last year from the merger of the successful Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition (RWM) and Futuresource shows, it will feature more than 600 exhibitors plus a three-day seminar programme with over 90 speakers - the largest collection of free content in the industry. Designed to inform, improve and inspire organisations it covers all areas of waste and recycling, from plant, vehicles and equipment to practical advice on how effective waste management can help to cut costs and turn waste into a valuable resource.
