Tractor manufacturer Kubota announce full line up at Royal Highland Show

Kubota Tractor and Groundcare has announced an impressive line-up for the Royal Highland Show, not only in terms of its affordable, productive and economical agricultural machines, but also for its dealer support.

The world-leading manufacturer will be showcasing its extensive range of tractors including the new M130X and the award-winning M Series, as well as the popular RTV900 all-terrain utility vehicle, and its market leading groundcare products.

But it doesn't stop there - Kubota has one of the largest dealer networks in Scotland and, as well as the company's own staff, there will be a representative from every dealer on the stand. This level of support will give visitors to the Royal Highland Show the opportunity to access expert advice about the right equipment for their needs.

In terms of equipment, the highlight of the exhibition will be the newly unveiled M130X tractor. This flagship 130hp model is the largest in the Kubota range and has been designed to offer a real alternative to both 'expensive' and 'economy' tractors. It features a four-cylinder engine, electronic fuelling and engine governing as well as Intelli-Shift 16 Speed transmission with eight-speed powershift and auto field/road modes. This can be enhanced with the new LA2253 loader, which has a lifting capacity of 2.1 tons to a maximum height of 4.1m.

This will be complemented by the other two models in the M Series range, the 108hp M108S and the 128hp M128X. These powerful and lightweight machines are extremely versatile and have been designed to tackle the most demanding jobs with ease. They are reliable and durable giving year-in year out of cost effective service.

Also on display will be the M40 series, which consists of four models spanning 63 to 95hp. The series scooped a coveted Silver medal at the RASE (Royal Agricultural Society of England) Awards thanks to the powerful testimony of Kubota owners. When surveyed, users praised the simplicity of the machines, their easy-to-use controls, a top speed of 40kph and comfortable cabs, together with their construction, durability, reliability and highly competitive price.

All of these tractors can be fitted with a variety of Kubota-matched attachments and large implements to allow them to handle a diverse range of tasks from ploughing, harrowing and spraying to trailer and front-loader work. And because they are manufactured by Kubota, users are guaranteed optimum performance from their tractor.

Completing Kubota's agricultural line up is the RTV900 all-terrain utility vehicle, which has set a new standard in all-terrain utility vehicles. It features a unique transmission system, advanced automotive type suspension, power steering and, thanks to the highest ground clearance in its class, this four-wheel drive vehicle is comfortable across even the most difficult terrain.

It is powered by a Kubota 22hp E-TVCS three cylinder water-cooled diesel engine, together with a unique three-range variable hydrostatic transmission system (VHT). In action, VHT delivers rapid acceleration, excellent traction and impressive hill climbing. It also provides dynamic braking for safe, controlled hill starts and descents without having to rely solely on the vehicle's brakes.

"Scotland is a very important market for us and we have one of the largest dealer networks in the region. As a result, it is extremely important that we not only attend the event, but also have a representative from each dealer available to meet with existing and potential customers," commented Dave Roberts, Kubota's Sales and Marketing Manager. "We hope that this will give visitors to the Royal Highland Show the opportunity to find out more about our wide range of agricultural and groundcare products, as well as reassuring them that there is a dealer nearby to provide the necessary maintenance and servicing support should they require it."

Kubota is a world leading manufacturer at the forefront of innovation for commercial tractors and ride-on mowers, and their Tractor and Groundcare Division has maintained its leadership position since first entering the UK and Ireland market more than 30 years ago.

The company's product portfolio now encompasses 24 tractor models between 12 and 128hp, 13 ride-on mower models, which cater for domestic and professional users alike and four variants of the class-leading RTV900 all-terrain utility vehicle.

Kubota machines have a legendary reputation for quality, performance, reliability, ease of operation and overall value-for-money. This is backed-up by a national network of specialist dealers who provide the highest standards of advice and aftersales service.
