Trade Fabrication Systems extends partner programme

Trade Fabrication Systems (TFS), one of the UK’s leading processors of coated and laminated wood based products, has extended its dedicated Partner Programme out to distributors.

The TFS Partner Programme enables members to increase margins by offering factory applied technically advanced surface finishes to create premium wood based products. Joining the nationwide network of partners ensures access to TFS’ in-house knowledge and technical expertise to jointly develop cost effective solutions that meet customer requirements and add value to a sale.

Andy Smith, managing director, Falcon Panel Products, has worked with TFS since the company’s inception in 1998 and comments: "Over the years we have developed a mutually beneficial partnership with TFS that has facilitated the collaborative development of new products to address specific customer or project requirements. Furthermore, the stringent quality control processes in place at TFS allow us to go the extra mile for customers, safe in the knowledge that even orders on a tight deadline will be consistently fulfilled to the highest possible standard."

As well as access to blue chip quality control and product expertise, companies accepted onto the TFS Partner Programme will be able to jointly develop and extend own branded ranges. With a proven track record of successful collaborations with major panel board manufacturers and key distributors, TFS has already helped to develop industry leading BBA approved brands utilised throughout the UK housebuilding industry over the past decade.

A dedicated production team ensures that members of the TFS Partner Programme receive a premium level of service, helping to secure valuable orders and customer loyalty. Major investment in technically advanced coating equipment and cut size facilities means TFS has the ability to turn around bespoke orders efficiently and timely – requiring virtually no capital outlay for partners. Furthermore, partners are given access to TFS’ strategically located, state-of-the-art product showroom in Warrington, to demonstrate the added value of premium factory applied coated and laminated wood products to their own customers.

Howard Morris, general manager, Trade Fabrication Systems, comments: "Following increased enquiries from merchants we felt that it was important to support this growing customer base. By extending our Partner Programme to provide national coverage all members can benefit from a collaborative and supportive approach to product development.

"In an increasingly competitive market, creating total product solutions from different suppliers can add value to a sale and is crucial to successful commercial operations. Taking commodity wood products and adding factory applied finishes to meet specific needs is one of our core competencies, so merchants can be confident that they will be able to meet any customer requirement."

TFS has a vast existing portfolio of finishes including slip resistant coatings, anti-bacterial films/coatings, Class 0 fire retardant foils/coatings, peel off protective films and UV lacquers in a range of colours that combine decorative appearance with technically enhanced performance. These factory finished products can be utilised in a diverse range of applications, including mezzanine flooring, retail warehouses, residential and commercial construction, home and leisure and even packaging.
