Transmon Team restructure enhances customer service

Transmon Engineering has restructured its sales team in order to enhance customer service, which includes the appointment of new Sales Manager Pete Boettcher, pictured.

The most important change for customers will be the support available from the new sales and customer service team to help streamline the order process and enable a quicker response time. Customer service will be provided through technical pre-sales support, field sales support and after-sales support.

Transmon Engineering helps materials handling operations to improve safety and efficiency and to become more environmentally friendly by fitting electronic devices and fleet management systems to forklift fleets.

"By combining the technical team with the sales team we can ensure maximum levels of customer support in fast paced materials handling operations" says Steve Coley, Managing Director of Transmon. "The newly structured team, led by our Sales Manager, Pete, marks a new chapter for our company and how we support the market."

Having worked for Transmon for over 13 years, Pete Boettcher has risen through the company from Field Engineer to Senior Technical Advisor/Installation Engineer, working from the Transmon offices in Syston, Leicestershire and in the field throughout the UK.

Pete has been involved with the training of all the Transmon field engineers, and has a comprehensive understanding of the existing product range and new products in the Transmon portfolio. He also helped in the development of the company's latest range of iTEch systems, which were launched at IMHX 2013.

"Transmon's product offering has evolved extensively over the past couple of years" explains Pete. "There will be a new focus on our flagship product, the iTEch TDS601 for forklift fleet management, which includes features such as protected truck access and drivers' daily checks."

Transmon is a privately owned independent company based in Leicester, the Midlands in the UK. The company works closely with OEMs, distributors, dealers and end users of materials handling and plant equipment.
