Success for Lombard. Lombard Vehicle Management says its debut at the CV Show was highly successful. "It's gone extremely well for us," said Matt Dale, van operations manager. "We've made lots of appointments for follow-up meetings with firms from the north of Scotland to the south of England, so the show had a wide reach and attracted the right people, with lots of interest in how we work." People were surprised to find that Lombard can manage the whole process and the extent of the firms expertise in the delivery of vans, said Dale.

CV Show bangs the drum for TomTom

The CV show was a great success for TomTom work, the firm says. "Much of the buzz on the stand was created by the launch of the world's simplest plug and play connected navigation system, the GO715 'Compact'", said the firm's Ben Houlihan. "This all-in-one device combines two-way communication with satellite navigation and comes with fully integrated traffic information for business users." Houlihan says the firm is already planning for next year and it wants an area specifically for telematics makers, to provide a one stop shop for customers looking at fleet management solutions.
