Troax completes latest in a series of storage and patitioning

projects for Honda of the UK manufacturing limited. Industrial storage and partitioning specialist Troax has completed the latest in a series of projects for Honda of the UK Manufacturing Limited's (HUM) fully integrated car manufacturing facility in Swindon, Wiltshire. The latest phase of the upgrading at HUM includes the design and construction of a series of large, steel enclosures for storing high value vehicle parts and maintenance equipment.

Troax has been working with contractor Rapid Engineering for several years, designing and installing secure storage enclosures, paint booths and other partitioning and storage systems at HUM.

During the latest phase, Troax has designed and installed a large, maintenance storage enclosure using its Broadsword modular, single skin steel partitioning, together with three enclosures constructed from its Sabre single skin, steel partitioning which are used for the storage of vehicle parts. The freestanding enclosures have been installed throughout the factory.

The variety of projects undertaken by Troax, at HUM, illustrates the versatility of the company's products as Brian Marley at Rapid Engineering explains: "We have an excellent working relationship with Troax which is why we like to use them for this type of regular, ongoing project. Their modular storage and partitioning systems are versatile and easy to adapt to the requirements of a particular site or project. We've been working with them for nearly five years now and their service is always second to none so we can always rely on them for prompt, efficient service which makes our job much easier."
