Two new appointments for pallet giant, LPR, La Palette Rouge, the red pallet people

Pallet pooling giant LPR has kicked off the New Year by reaffirming its plans for ambitious growth in the UK with the appointment of two new key members of staff. Holly Bill has joined the team as business development manager, while Donna Davies joins as customer accounts manager.

Holly joins LPR, Europe’s second largest pallet pooling company, from npower where she worked as a customer relations management executive. She has significant experience in building and maintaining relationships with key customers and delivering excellent customer service. Donna was previously sales manager UK and Ireland for Curtec in the Netherlands, where she managed its £3.5 million UK and Ireland customer base and was responsible for delivering sales growth.

Holly commented: "I am very excited to be joining the fast-paced world of LPR, embracing the pallet pooling industry and being able to make a tangible impact on the business as it grows its UK operation. LPR’s commitment to exceptional customer service and strong team ethos appealed, while its ambitious growth plans offer fantastic opportunities to help develop client relationships and innovative supply chain solutions."

Donna added: "I’m really looking forward to playing a fundamental role in increasing LPR’s market share by identifying and delivering growth opportunities within the existing customer base. LPR is a forward-thinking, ambitious yet personable business and team and I look forward to working with them going forward."

Jane Gorick, managing director at LPR UK, said: "We are delighted to welcome Holly and Donna to the LPR team. Their appointments are just the start of what we feel will be an exciting year in terms of our growth in the UK and the development of the services we already provide. We are all looking forward to 2013 and Holly and Donna are a vital part of our ongoing strategy to further nurture our UK business and increase our market share."

Since its foundation in Toulouse, France, in 1992, LPR has become one of the most prominent pallet pooling operators in Europe and now works with global companies such as Heinz, Kellogg’s, Coca-Cola, Nestle and Heineken.
