Two new Genie® articulating Z™ boom lifts to be unveiled at APEX

Genie has announced that among the eight best-selling and new generation Genie® aerial work platforms and telehandlers to be displayed at APEX in June, the company's presence will be highlighted by the unveiling of two new articulating Genie®-Z™ boom lifts. Both new models are designed to suit the specific needs of different application sectors.

Designed for outdoor construction and industrial applications, the new Genie® Z™-62/40 diesel articulating boom lift (the successor to the Genie® Z-™ 60/34 boom lift) combines impressive lifting versatility with zero tail swing, outstanding outreach and "up-and-over" positioning capabilities, with the benefits of significant enhancements and new design features. One such feature is the Genie® Fast Mast™ system. This feature enables the boom to be moved from full height to below grade, and from below grade to full height with the secondary boom fully raised, allowing operators to ascend and descend more efficiently. Thanks to its two or four-wheel drive, four-wheel steer option and Genie® TraX™ track drive system, the new Z-62/40 boom is also highly manoeuvrable and smooth to operate on muddy or uneven ground.

The second machine to be unveiled at APEX is an entirely new addition to the Genie articulating boom lift range. Built in Europe to suit the needs of our European customers, this compact, lightweight new model with high ground clearance, is designed for indoor and outdoor applications in confined spaces. Featuring the Genie® Fast Mast™, this new articulating boom lift also combines the benefits of zero tail swing and a tight turning radius.

The Genie team looks forward to revealing the full details of this second new Z-boom lift on booth 350-450 at APEX.
