UK Overhead crane and hoist makers Street Crane Company, reinforce Middle East presence

Juffali Heavy Equipment Company (JHECO) has been appointed by Street Crane Company as their exclusive representative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Under the agreement JHECO will offer a full range of factory cranes up to 200 tonnes safe working load using Street Crane's hoists and major electro-mechanical systems. JHECO, part of the E A Juffali and Brothers Group, is one of the largest commercial enterprises in Saudi Arabia.

Street Crane, based in Chapel-en-le-Frith, is a major exporter of overhead cranes, hoists and components. The new appointment gives them a significant presence in the growing Middle East market.

Heavy structural elements will be fabricated in Saudi Arabia by JHECO. Sales director Gus Zona commented, "The Middle East, and the Gulf states in particular, are major users of Street Crane hoist equipment, but to date we have had only limited and fragmented representation in Saudi Arabia. We are pleased to have such a high profile partner who is deeply involved in manufacturing infrastructure and industrial development of the Kingdom. They are now able to offer our full range of cranes and hoists."

The Juffali Group have a policy of partnering with world class suppliers and already have collaborative ventures with Daimler-Benz, Carrier, IBM, Ericsson, Siemens, Liebherr, Massey Fergusson, Michelin, Dow, Dupont and other leading international companies. There are also other synergies in the agreement; both Street Crane and the Juffali Group are privately owned family-led businesses that have been trading successfully for over 60 years. The agreement with JHECO brings the world-wide network of Street Crane partners to 44.
