With a massive webcast production, on September 5, Volvo Trucks is launching a new version of its Volvo FH series, the company's best-selling truck model. The launch event will be broadcast live on the Internet, giving everyone the chance to get an early look at the new truck.
"With modern technology and simultaneous events in many different countries, we are giving everyone the opportunity to participate in the launch. As far as we know nothing like this has ever been done before," says Claes Nilsson, President Volvo Truck Corporation.
2000 people will come to the Scandinavium Arena in Göteborg to see the gala first-hand, and another 4000 people will take part in parallel events in Madrid, Birmingham, Paris, Rotterdam and Brussels. The live broadcast will be shown at all the events and on the online launch site, www.volvotrucks.com/fh.
