Melton Constable, Norfolk: March 1st 2007 was an important day for Structure-flex Limited of Norfolk, UK and Autosped, its Czech trading partner since 2002. It was the first day of trading for Structure-flex CZ sro following the agreement finalised between the two companies late last year.
By manufacturing Structure-flex commercial vehicle curtains and providing a round sling spinning operation from its factory in Decin, Autosped has played a crucial role in the development of Structure-flex’s business for the past five years.
The newly formed company, Structure-flex CZ sro, will provide a secure trading platform for the company, guaranteeing long term cost effectiveness for the business as a whole. It will give real control over the supply chain in the face of competition. In welcoming forty-two new team members to the business, Managing Director, Ian Doughty said:
“On behalf of all your new business colleagues and partners in the UK and around the world, I would like to welcome you into the wider Structure-flex business, and wish you and our joint business venture a long and successful future. This important step will enable us to further invest and develop business opportunities around the globe and will, I hope, encourage close and mutually beneficial working relationships between colleagues in the partner companies. This is an excellent outcome from what has, in the past, proved to be a very close business relationship with Autosped. Welcome to you all.”
Structure-flex is one of the UK’s most successful providers of bulk packaging solutions to the world’s food, pharmaceutical, chemical and oil and gas industries, as well as a leading supplier of vehicle tension curtains and lifting products.
