Whale Tankers when the Whale met the Warthog

Whale Tankers has signed a new agreement with US water jet tooling manufacturer StoneAge, for the distribution of its ‘Warthog’ premier range of rotary jetting nozzles for sewer applications.

The arrangement makes Whale a distributor for Warthog in the UK and Ireland, as well as in the Middle East and India.

Being showcased at this month’s RWM 2016 exhibition (NEC Birmingham, 13 – 15 September) the expanded Warthog product range is comprised of three main models, the Classic, the Magnum and the new Switcher, which is a water saving environmental product. The range will be available for order from Whale Parts as well as via the company’s Parts Direct web site and will be held in stock for either collection or next day delivery.

Mark Warmington, Managing Director for Whale Tankers, said: “We have known StoneAge and their excellent Warthog products for many years now and with our increased share of the recycler market, the synergies between our companies are now so great, particularly regarding the new Switcher range, we felt the time was right to enter into a formal agreement to market these top quality nozzle products.”

Andrew Birt, European Dealer Manager for StoneAge, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have Whale Tankers representing our sales interests in the UK, Ireland, the Middle East and India. We’ve had informal discussions with them over the last few years and Whale was involved in the original testing of the recycling Magnum range. They have become so well known in the drain cleaning and recycler market, we believe they are most certainly the right partner for us moving forward.

“As part of the negotiation process, our Chief Executive Officer, Kerry Siggins, visited Whale’s UK facility at Ravenshaw and was very impressed with the operation, quality of manufacture and in particular, the knowledge and expertise of their parts and technical team. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial working relationship with Whale.”

Whale’s continuous dirty water recycler products are from its renowned and widely proven KaiserWhale range.

Mark Warmington added: “Our recyclers are tried and tested by operators throughout the UK and it is great that we will be able to offer these premier quality rotary jetting nozzles to our existing and new customers to perfectly complement our products.

“The KaiserWhale’s ability to continuously recycle dirty water minimises the amount of water required and preserves precious clean water supplies, while maximising time spent on site for the operational team.”
