Whistl, the second largest postal operator in the UK, has appointed home delivery specialist Christine Key to grow its Packets and Parcel division.
Whistl currently handles 60m packets and parcels through its Downstream Access operation. The appointment of Key will see it offer a new range of tracked and untracked services that are scalable and flexible and meet the needs of clients whether they are large multichannel retailers, eBay sellers or small independent boutiques. In addition, Whistl will expand its services into the International arena.
The company is offering a one supplier relationship, along with a single collection for all clients’ items and one integrated IT system which will save management time, effort and be more cost effective. The process works by combining Whistl’s market leading DSA operation and then managing delivery through using a range of carefully selected carriers.
Nick Wells, CEO of Whistl, said:
“Whistl is going from strength to strength with significant appointments to our strong management team. Christine will help us build our packets and parcels business by offering services to clients that they have been demanding we supply, which will be underpinned by our unrivalled account management team capability.”
Christine Key, Director Packets and Parcels said:
“Whistl is a dynamic and evolving business always looking for different ways to meet the needs of current and new clients.
