Whistl, the second largest postal operator in the UK, is continuing its expansion in Northern Ireland through the extension of its sortation depot on Hightown Industrial Estate in Newtownabbey, Belfast.
As well as increasing the depot size to 11,000 square feet the company’s mail sorting capability has grown from 32 bins to 144 which will help deliver greater efficiency of the operation.
Whistl has been operating in Northern Ireland since 2010 and is the only alternative national postal operator in the province and handles over 50 million items a year for clients including Allied Irish Bank and PowerNI.
