Will Young has joined Transporeon as Business Development Manager for the UK and Ireland. He will be based in Derbyshire.
Will has many years of materials handling experience and, before joining Transporeon, was for more than six years, an executive with DHL Supply Chain. Speaking of his new appointment, he commented, "My new role gives me a fresh challenge in a dynamic, young company, which, in only 15 years, has made a tremendous impact on the logistics business across Europe and well beyond. I am sure that there is still much scope to develop Transporeon's business in the UK and Ireland."

Transporeon continues to be a major success story. In March, the company reported, that annual revenues had increased by 22 per cent to about 34 million euros. The number of employees rose from approximately 260 to 330, an increase of 26 per cent. Growth was achieved both through the development of business with existing customers and the acquisition of numerous new accounts.
