Wincanton announces Group Fleet Director appointment

Wincanton plc, a leading provider of supply chain solutions in the UK and Ireland, is pleased to announce that Carl Hanson has joined the Group as Fleet Director.

As Group Fleet Director, Carl will be responsible for leading Group-wide fleet strategy and implementation. Carl’s role will work across the organisation to ensure optimum utilisation and greatest efficiency for the existing fleet of 3,600. In this role, he will support the Sales Team in providing innovative solutions for our customers across diverse markets including construction, energy, retail and consumer.

Carl brings with him a wealth of experience having held a number of commercial roles with Balfour Beatty where he was most recently Fleet Services Director. In addition, he has also previously held commercial roles in Fastline Ltd and Jarvis Infrastructure.
