Tecni-Cable, a one-stop shop for small diameter wire rope & fittings based in Somerset, has won a prestigious Somerset Business of the Year award.
Tecni-Cable has a strong local presence and scooped the E-Business award in recognition of the way technology is used within the company to improve working practices and increase sales.
Ecommerce has been the driving force behind Tecni-Cable since the company was founded in 2005 by Trevor Heyworth. In its three years, Tecni-Cable has launched multiple websites which integrate directly into a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The company maintains product optimisation through Google Adwords, Web CEO optimisation software and directory hotlinks, and customers are regularly informed of new offers and company information via targeted email marketing.

The annual Somerset Business of the Year Awards celebrates and recognises business success across Somerset.
