Online luxury fashion retailer, MATCHESFASHION.COM has reaffirmed its relationship with XPO Logistics with a new contract.
MATCHESFASHION.COM originally outsourced its global warehousing, e-fulfilment, retail and distribution operations to XPO Logistics in late 2013. This strategy has allowed MATCHESFASHION.COM to remain focused on its core sales, technology and marketing activities, with a scalable solution in place to support continued, exponential growth, both in the UK and overseas.
XPO Logistics is responsible for the receipt, handling and storage of product from MATCHESFASHION.COM’s suppliers, the collection and delivery of store orders and the picking, packing and despatch of online orders. Given the nature and value of the products, the presentation of online orders is a crucial part of the customer experience, with XPO Logistics’ specially trained colleagues being responsible for ensuring that orders are perfectly packaged in MATCHESFASHION.COM’s trademark, marbled delivery boxes.
XPO Logistics is also responsible for the delivery of orders to MATCHESFASHION.COM stores across London.
