It is a much more high-pressured role than my previous position, but I’m really ready for the challenge. I’m particularly looking forward to playing an instrumental part in the training and development of the new regional sales managers. It was a role I thoroughly enjoyed and I hope that I can impart some valuable insight from my experiences of the role onto the new team."
Steven’s new position will see him reporting directly to the managing director, as well as setting sales targets for his team and helping Yamato expand into different markets.
When discussing his place at Yamato Steven said: "Yamato is a very loyal company. It is family owned and as a result has a strong family feel. All the products on offer are terrific and I truly believe that Yamato can’t be beaten in its field. I’ve had 20 great years at Yamato and I’m looking forward to the next 20 being as successful as the last."
