Yamato Scale Dataweigh unveils new look website

Yamato Scale Dataweigh, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of multihead weighers and checkweighers, has today unveiled its new website, dedicated to the UK, Irish, Italian, Scandinavian, Middle East and South African markets – www.yamatoscale.co.uk.

For over one year, Yamato has used its German division’s website to communicate with businesses across Europe. The new website has been created and will make it easier for UK, Irish, Italian, Scandinavian, Middle East and South African-based food, hardware, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers to navigate and find the solutions most relevant to their market.

The new ‘sectors and applications’ page, which is split into the extensive market segments, will allow visitors to easily gather information about how Yamato solutions help improve their packaging and weighing lines. What’s more, high-quality, streaming videos will show the company’s machines operating in each sector.

The site will, for the first time, feature a news section on the homepage, which will discuss the issues affecting the weighing process, as well as company announcements. Meanwhile, by visiting the services area of the website, visitors will be able to find out about a number of after-sale services that the company offers, which ensure machines are always performing to the best of their capabilities.

Ray Bruen, Commercial Director at Yamato, commented: "Traffic to the Yamato website has always been high, but we wanted to make the navigation process far simpler for manufacturers, and ultimately ensure that this interest converts into sales. We are delighted with the new site and will continue to update it to ensure it remains fresh and contains useful information relating to our services. This will help us demonstrate how we can improve our customers’ operations."
