Yanmar appoints six new dealers across the UK and Ireland

Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe (CEE) has announced the appointment of six new dealers to its UK and Ireland Network. Chosen for their experience, expertise and reputation, each dealer will be responsible for distributing Yanmar’s latest portfolio of excavators, loaders and crawlers.

David Cockayne and Bart Verstraete, Area sales managers at Yanmar CEE, commented: “The UK and Northern Ireland construction market is a key area of focus for us. We are proud to announce the first appointments to our network, which will significantly expand our national coverage.

“With a wide range of loaders, carriers and both tracked and wheeled excavators, from 1 to 12-tonne payloads, we are bringing European innovation to construction professionals nationwide. When designing and building our machines, we aim to create the most reliable, safe, robust equipment to meet market requirements.”

Crumlin Plant Sales Ltd, based in Portadown, Northern Ireland, will be responsible for distributing the Yanmar excavator range (1 to 12 tonnes) and carrier portfolio. With more than 35 years’ experience, Crumlin covers Northern Ireland and areas in The Republic of Ireland.

CoPlant Limited, based in Swingfield, Dover, will be responsible for the Kent, East Sussex and South East of London territories. Having grown exponentially over the past 15 years, CoPlant offers new and refurbished plant machinery, and will be responsible for distributing Yanmar’s excavator range, alongside carriers and wheel loaders.

Farol Limited, based in Milton Common, South Oxfordshire, will distribute Yanmar’s excavator range. Farol will cover areas of central and southern England, from Oxford down to Slough.

Phoenix & Hire Sales Ltd, based in Cwmbran, South Wales, will again stock Yanmar’s range of excavator portfolio, as well as carriers and wheeled loaders. The dealer will be responsible for the South Wales area.

Tallis Amos Group Ltd, based in Worcestershire, boasts five branches and will distribute Yanmar’s crawler excavator range throughout Shropshire, Worcester, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. Models range from the super compact SV08-1T right through to the capable 12T SV120.

Yanmar chose dealers based on specific criteria, including experience, aftersales expertise, financial security and market share, as well as a shared belief in building a ‘sustainable future’.
