Logistics UK is calling on organisations which use vehicles like vans or HGVs to be aware of its national conference series for transport managers, which commences on 14 November.

Transport managers are legally required to keep their professional knowledge up to date and ensure their operations remain compliant, making this an event for anyone responsible for vehicle fleets.

The conference includes a line-up of expert senior industry speakers, including an opportunity to hear direct from the Traffic Commissioners who will talk about their priorities for the year ahead and how to avoid non-compliance.

The one-day conference will also include a legislative round-up and compliance update, as well as sessions on General Safety Regulation (GSR) and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

It will also cover the legal responsibilities of a transport manager, the revision of the Transport Manager CPC syllabus, transport managers in a connected and autonomous world - and a session by the Metropolitan Police.

Kevin Green, Logistics UK’s Director of Policy, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming delegates from around the region to Heathrow for the latest in our hotly anticipated Transport Manager conferences.

"The event will enable busy transport managers to stay up to date with ever-changing legislation and good practice advice, as well as the very latest industry developments, all delivered in a packed one-day programme.”

Logistics UK's national conference series for transport managers will be at Renaissance Hotel Heathrow, London on 14 November.
